The PLANHEAT project is organising a first webinar on 4th September on heating and cooling for local authorities.
The PLANHEAT project aims to improve local authorities’ capacity to decarbonise their heating and cooling systems. Within the project, a heat planning simulation tool is developed. The tool will map, plan and simulate the local energy demand and supply, it can identify potentials for new heating and cooling networks and will tell the energetic, economic and environmental gains.
PLANHEAT offers free webinars and workshops to train municipalities and regions in using the PLANHEAT tool. This September the first training courses on Module 1 of the tool are taking place, starting with a kick-off webinar on September 4. Webinars targeting Northern, Eastern and Southern Europe and the Balkan region will be held in September. In Module 1 you will learn about the mapping process, the format of data needed and where to find data in publicly available databases. The webinars are designed to cater to different region’s needs and specificities: Northern, Eastern and Southern Europe and the Balkan region.
