Dear members of the eurocities working group ‘Skills, creativity and work’ (formerly ‘creative industries’),

Dear EUROCITIES culture forum members,

You are kindly invited to attend the EUROCITIES ‘Skills, creativity and work’ online working group meeting focusing on how to stimulate the development of creative skills in education/curriculum. We will focus on experiences from Eindhoven.

The meeting is arranged in 2 parts:

  • Tuesday 13 October, 13:30-15:30 Brussels time – Focus on developing the creative skills of youngsters and engaging with local businesses
  • Friday 23 October, 15:00-17:00 Brussels time – Focus on design solutions and implementation in the Eindhoven, interaction with and influence on economic and social development of the city.

The online meeting replaces a meeting originally scheduled in Eindhoven in April 2020. This online edition is augmented with an additional session focusing on the Dutch Design Week hosted by Eindhoven. Dutch Design Week is the biggest design event in Northern Europe, presenting work and ideas of more than 2600 designers to more than 350,000 visitors.
