Ljubljana signed a strong pledge to gender equality, work-life balance and equal opportunities. This is the third pledge from Ljubljana reaffirming the city's commitment to implement the European Pillar of Social Rights, after the first two pledges in 2018 and 2019 to improve access to healthcare, housing and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Highlights from our WG Children meeting online - cities united to mitigate COVID-19 impact on children

From the disruption of their schooling to their social skills and mental health and well-being, the pandemic has had a strong impact on children and young people. Home-schooling has deepened the inequalities in education and training. Child poverty is increasing in cities and the poorest are the hardest hit.
